steps of water treatment :-
Step:- 1 Screening (For removing large substance)
Step 2:- coagulation/flocculation (in which we add type of chemical called Alum for easy settling of small or light substance )
Step3:- sedimentation ( in this water is storage in tank for settlement of all particles by action of gravitation force)
Step4:- Filtration ( sand filter is used in it, in which we add fine sand , coarse sand , carbon for better filtration of water)
Step5:- disinfectant (in this we add chlorine (cl) for killing harmful bacteria after filtration)
Now we have clean water
