A team of students, including Raja Babu, Manish, Ugam, Mita, and Gurakesh, undertook this project model under the guidance of Head of the Civil Department at Indo Global College of Engineering.

Root Zone Treatment (RZT) is a natural and sustainable method of wastewater treatment that involves using vegetation and soil to remove pollutants from the wastewater. The wastewater is first collected and then channeled to a subsurface flow system that is covered with soil and planted with vegetation.
