Industrial wastewater contaminated with heavy metals poses a huge danger to the environment and human health. The settling basins that contain this kind of wastewater take up large areas, while disposal requires a considerable amount of consumables, electricity, and financial resources.
Electroplating industry sewage primarily requires removal of hexavalent chromium, as well as phenols, fluorine, and nitrates. GlobeCore technology allows neutralizing the acid-alkaline sewage and cyanide-containing compounds. Vortex layer devices convert electroplating industry sewage into water and heavy metal deposits which are easy to remove. As we see, it was possible to completely neutralize hexavalent chromium and nickel; there remained only minor traces of iron, manganese, copper, and lead. These characteristics allow discharging the water obtained after treatment into the sewer system.
