The Evac Evolution ballast water treatment system is based on a combination of filtration and UV technology. It is designed with a UV transmission ‘feed back’ loop which ensures precise dosing in challenging seawater conditions, but saves power during normal running. It is effective in fresh, brackish and seawater giving a high degree of operational freedom. The system can be skid mounted for newbuilds on supplied in modular form for retrofit applications where space is limited. Developed by Cathelco over a 10 year period, the system has been supplied for cruise ships, offshore supply vessels, fishing vessels and the specialised requirements of luxury yachts.
