California approved wastewater to be treated and reused as tap drinking water. To combat California’s increasing water resource issues, water agencies will now be able to treat wastewater and divert it into drinkable tap water. The two largest concerns I have off the bat with this are the persistence of forever chemicals and microplastics in wastewater. Orange County already recycles 100% of reclaimable water from sources including wastewater. Do you support California’s new water plan?
