This educational video/animation was inspired by a visit to the Hemphill Water Treatment Plant in Atlanta! At the plant, we were able to see up close the uses of coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration in our water treatment system. We were also able to explore the chemistry concept of ion exchange in our own titrations, and see how it could also be applied to our water treatment system.
