Aeration: A Wastewater Treatment Process summarizes current aeration practices in wastewater treatment and includes both theoretical and practical guidelines for the design and operation of such unit processes. Topics include: history of aeration; oxygen requirements; modeling; diffused air and mechanical aeration systems; process control; operation and maintenance; and aeration-testing protocols. This Manual is intended to be of practical use to the design engineer and is based on the experience of engineers in the field of wastewater treatment plant design and operation.
